Paul Jones from BBC Radio 2 once described the band as “the hardest act to follow since the parting of the Red Sea”. Also receiving rave reviews from:

“For those that say swing is a musical form best left to the Americans, prepare to be proven wrong. This British combo is bullet-proof.” Atomic Magazine, New York

“Superb, a stunning range of instrumental ability….. Classy stuff in the style of Louis Jordan and Eddie ‘Cleanhead’ Vinson, with nowt taken out ! A band I recommend ANYBODY to go and see” Dave Clarke, Now Dig This Magazine

“Behind the fun and rollocking good times lies an outfit skilled enough for the horns to come on with the bite and precision of the Basie Band” The Guardian
